Delete your account & data

You can permanently delete your Arcana account and the personal data associated with it. You can do this inside the app, or here on the web — no need to reinstall or sign back into the app.

Fastest: delete inside the app

  1. Open Arcana and go to Settings → Account.
  2. Tap Delete Account & Data, then confirm (two taps).
  3. Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently erased within 30 days.

Enter the email address on your Arcana account (the one you used with Sign in with Apple or Google). We’ll verify it’s you and delete your account and data.

We’ll email you to confirm before anything is deleted, so an accidental or malicious request can’t remove your data.

What gets deleted

  • Your readings and saved reading history
  • Your chats with your mage
  • Your display name and profile
  • Your progress — level, XP, energy, streak, Moon Charms, and card collection
  • Your account and any linked Apple or Google sign-in (your Apple sign-in token is revoked)

Timing. Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently purged within 30 days. Any copy of your reading inputs held by our AI partner (Anthropic) is automatically deleted within 7 days and is never used to train AI.

What we may keep

  • De-identified purchase and tax/audit records, where the law requires us to retain them — unlinked from your identity.
